بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya.

Meaning and Explanation
The supplication recognizes that sleep resembles a temporary form of death and that waking up and life are entirely by Allah's will.
When to Recite
Immediately before going to sleep when lying in bed.
How to Recite
Recite it after preparing for sleep. It is Sunnah to sleep on the right side with the hand under the cheek.
Important Notes
While this is the shortest version, other authentic bedtime adhkar like the 3 Quls and Ayatul Kursi are also highly recommended.
