Islam teaches a beautiful three-step mutual supplication exchange when a Muslim sneezes. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed that sneezing is loved by Allah because it brings relief and alertness, making it an occasion to praise Allah and make dua for one another.

The sneezer says 'Alhamdulillah' aloud so nearby Muslims can hear and respond.
Important Notes
It is Sunnah to cover one's face and lower one's voice while sneezing. The listener only responds if the sneezer explicitly praises Allah.
Benefits
Praising Allah after sneezing fulfills a Sunnah obligation (Tashmeet) and strengthens brotherhood through mutual prayers for mercy and guidance.
