The Prophet ﷺ taught his Companions supplications for the morning and evening. This reported morning supplication begins by acknowledging that life, death, and the ultimate resurrection are all in Allah's control.
Allahumma bika asbahna wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya wa bika namutu, wa ilaykan-nushur.
O Allah, by You we enter the morning, by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.
