Dua for Recognizing Allah's Favors - Quranic Gratitude Dua

Recognizing blessings is an important part of shukr (gratitude). The Quran gives us a beautiful supplication asking Allah to enable us to appreciate His favors and use them in ways that please Him.

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ

Transliteration

Rabbi awzi'ni an ashkura ni'mataka allati an'amta alayya wa ala walidayya.

Translation

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents.
