Prophet Sulaiman (AS) was blessed with wisdom and authority. After a trial from Allah, he turned back to his Lord with repentance and made a unique request to demonstrate Allah's absolute power through his kingship.
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbigh-fir li wa-hab li mulkan la yanbaghi li-ahadin min ba’di, innaka Antal-Wahhab.
My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
