Financial freedom in Islam is defined as being independent of people and having enough halal provision to fulfill one's needs and help others. The Prophet ﷺ taught a concise yet powerful prayer to achieve this state.
Allahummak-fini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadhlika 'amman siwak.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful instead of what You have made unlawful, and make me independent by Your grace from all besides You.
