Dua from Surah Al-Araf

Surah Al-Araf contains the famous supplication of Prophet Adam (AS) and Hawwa asking Allah for forgiveness.

Surah Al-Araf is a chapter of reminders and history. Its most prominent dua is the prayer of repentance by the first humans, teaching us how to return to Allah after a lapse.

Meaning and Explanation

The dua acknowledges that sinning is an act of self-injustice and that only Allah's pardon and mercy can prevent ultimate spiritual failure.

When to Recite

After committing a mistake, during personal prayers, and when seeking a fresh spiritual start.

How to Recite

Recite with a heavy heart and genuine remorse, reflecting on your dependence on Allah's grace.

Important Notes

This is verse 23 of Surah Al-Araf. It sets the standard for how a believer should react to their own errors.

Benefits
